about me
|
I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Patricia Brennan and Dr. Daniel Dilks at Emory University. Here, I gained a solid foundation in the intergenerational transmission of adversity and depression, including focused training in glucocorticoid mechanisms of risk transmission, infant MRI, and complex assessment of adversity, trauma, and depression across the perinatal period. For my postdoctoral fellowship, I sought further training in translational neuroscience to complement my background in clinical science and adversity-related developmental programming. I joined the lab of Dr. Moriah Thomason at NYU Langone in 2020 with the primary goal of enhancing my ability to study how environment shapes the developing brain. To date, I have published 27 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, and have presented my work at national and international conferences.
I am also a trained psychologist with extensive experience treating anxiety and mood disorders in children and adolescents. EDUCATION
